Tickets On Sale Now for Melton Ska Fest 2026
Melton Ska Fest is back — and tickets for 2026 are on sale now.
After a sold-out debut that brought more than 1,800 music fans to Play Close Park, the festival returns on Saturday 25th July 2026 for another full day of Ska, Reggae and 2-Tone in the heart of Melton Mowbray.
Fresh from being shortlisted for the National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA) Small Event of the Year, Melton Ska Fest has quickly established itself as a standout date in the summer calendar. The 2026 edition builds on that success, with expanded facilities and a carefully curated line-up that celebrates the sound and spirit of working-class music culture.
The 2026 Line-Up
Headlining this year’s festival is The Beat featuring Ranking Junior, continuing the legacy of the late Ranking Roger with the unmistakable energy and sound that defined a generation.
They’re joined by:
Xodus – widely recognised as the UK’s leading Bob Marley tribute
Johnny 2 Bad – delivering the classic UB40 sound, endorsed by Ali Campbell
Steve Wallbanks (One Man Two Tone) – Melton’s own ska ambassador returns home from Benidorm for a special performance
Bringing the authentic sound system atmosphere, the Boot Boy Radio Crew return to the park — this time joined by Trojan Sound International. Expect original vinyl 45s, heavyweight rhythms and a proper Jamaican sound system experience throughout the day.
Building on a Sold-Out Year
The 2025 festival proved there’s a strong appetite for Ska, Reggae and 2-Tone in Leicestershire and beyond, with fans travelling from across the country to be part of the first event.
For 2026, organisers have listened to feedback and are enhancing facilities while keeping the friendly, community atmosphere that made the first year so memorable.
Don’t Miss Out
With last year selling out in advance and demand already high, early booking is strongly recommended.
Secure your place now and join us at Play Close Park on 25th July 2026 for another day of skanking under open skies.
